1943 Named Tornister BackpackVery nice condition pony fur "affe" tornister. It is dated 1943 and there is a name written in pen on the back. The leather is still is good condition and you can open and close the straps without too much angst for damaging them. I believe the leather could use a little conditioning or could be collected and displayed as is. It is very clean despite being an issued item. A very nice example all around.

I purchased this as a gift. The dog’s on the smaller end, and I wanted to get something not too big so the pup can bite and play with it. These have squeakers inside. It is not sturdy, though. The dog was able to tear one popcorn apart under one hour. I was not amused, but people said that’s just how the toys should work. Little fella loved this right out of the gift bag. The pup seemed happy, hence 5 starts. Made me happy for a bit as well.
