Artist's Statement: This is a some of my work in encaustic wax. I have been using this medium for about four years and absolutely love the process and the final result. Beeswax is mixed with damar resin and then melted and applied to a hard surface. The darmar resin allows for a final buffing and shine.

This package had more than the pkg that was supposed to have 4000, but they are coming up slowly. It is dry here, I have been watering , just enough to get the ground wet and they are scattered, but some are coming up. I also watered the space supposedly where i spread seeds from the supposedly 4000 seeds pkg. They are not coming up as much!
